On Saturday, October 17, 2026, Mission Viejo High School will host the Mission Viejo Invitational, a Western Band Association competition bringing marching bands and color guards from across Southern California — and potentially Northern California and beyond — to our campus for
a Marching Band and Color Guard Competition.
ADVERTISING
At least eight high schools are expected to compete, comprising nearly 1,000 student musicians, directors, coaches, and support staff — plus at least 1,000 additional spectators throughout the day. It's one of the largest single-day events held on our campus, and a tremendous opportunity for local businesses to reach a captive Orange County audience while supporting music education.
